7-The Promised Renewal: The New Creation

The seventh chapter focuses its attention on the glorious future promised by God, the new creation.
Dever looks to Revelation, speaks a bit of the difficulties raised by many of it´s readers and says that the last book shows the consummation of our salvation.
Revelation shows our relationship with God restored, His people will be Holy and mentions that these are the good news that we have to offer. (Apoc. 21: 3-4)
The chapter ends with two notes, the meaning of life or the purpose of life is to glorify God and be with him forever and that the latter times are times to wait and have hope in God.

9. Believing God's Promises

The last chapter of the first part focuses on faith in God's promises. Talks of the need to put our faith in God and in the certainty that we are safe in it.
